Terms of Service — Local Website Setup

These terms apply to all website setup and related services provided by Local Website Setup ("we," "us"). By approving a quote or paying an invoice or payment link, you ("client") agree to these terms.

1. Scope of work

The services, deliverables, price, and timeline for your project are defined in the written quote or project brief we send you by email. Anything not listed in that document is not included. Ongoing maintenance, hosting, content writing, and third-party fees are excluded unless expressly listed.

2. Approval and payment

Work begins after you approve the quote in writing (an email reply counts) and pay the deposit or first invoice. Invoices are due on the date shown. We may pause work on accounts with overdue balances.

3. Revisions and scope changes

Your quote includes the number of revision rounds stated in it. Requests beyond that scope — additional pages, features, or redesigns — will be quoted separately in writing before we do the work.

4. Client responsibilities

You agree to provide content, images, credentials, and feedback we reasonably request. If we wait more than 14 days for materials or feedback, we may place the project on hold; projects on hold more than 60 days may be closed out and billed for work completed.

5. Delivery and acceptance

A project is delivered when we send you the handoff email with the live site (or agreed deliverables). You have 7 days to report issues. If we don't hear from you within 7 days, the project is considered accepted.

6. Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. If we fail to deliver the agreed scope, we will refund amounts paid for work not delivered. Completed and delivered work is non-refundable. Refund requests must be sent to support@localwebsitesetup.com.

7. Third-party costs

Domains, hosting, stock images, plugins, and other third-party purchases are billed at cost and are subject to the third party's own refund policies, not ours.

8. Ownership

Upon full payment, you own the final website and its content. We retain the right to display the completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing. Third-party themes, plugins, and licenses remain governed by their own terms.

9. Warranties and liability

We build sites with reasonable professional care, but we don't guarantee specific business results, search rankings, or uninterrupted operation of third-party services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the project.

10. Billing disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at support@localwebsitesetup.com or 425-364-8283 before disputing the charge with your card issuer, and we'll work to resolve it promptly.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These terms plus your written quote are the entire agreement for your project.
